Authentic Maryland food. Loved the blue crabs, crab cakes and Old Bay Wings!

Went and got hubby dozen crabs he loves them they were huge and well worth the money. Will go there again.

Never in a million years have I ever eaten to a place that was so nasty. Out for lunch and decided to go to a place I never been and this was it. One I entered, sat down and ordered my food that’s when it all began. Once off order wings and a drink. Wings came out not done (red in the middle🤦🏾‍♀️) and my cup had flies all around it til I had one on the inside of my cup. Second asked the waitress if I could get some fresh wing that was completely cooked all the way and they had an attitude about that. My response was never mine don’t worry about it. So when it was time to pay the ticket even without me eating the food or drinking the drink they wanted my to pay.....Not and guess what the 🚓had to get involved. The staff had there pick of color which didn’t make sense. If any of you all decide to eat out please don’t let this place be your pick of choice. Very nasty and racist. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I'm originally from Maryland now living in NC. Went to this restaurant over the 2017 Memorial Day Weekend. I got crab soup which was absolutely delicious! Crab balls which were also absolutely delicious andthe crabs which were great. Everything tasted just like home. Service was great. Absolutely no complaints. Will definitely go back!!

Shiver Me Pinchers in Myrtle Beach was a real delight. We're from Maryland, born in Baltimore, and lived on the Eastern Shore for 30+ years, so we know crabs. We caught and steamed our own crabs for years, then bought them right from the watermen on the Shore. The crabs and crab cakes at Shiver Me Pinchers are just like if you got them in St Michaels or Kent island; definitely Maryland flavor and texture. These are not "Maryland-style" as some places advertise, they ARE simply Maryland crabs and crab cakes. Will definitely be back every visit to Myrtle Beach.

First time here. Despite the covid-19 shutdown, the service was excellent and the food was equally as good. My family and I were very happy with Shiver Me Pinchers.

Nice. I love how they remove the lobster tail meat from the shell because I always struggle to remove the meat. Big steak and big lobster tail with the Surf and Turf. Nice server as well.My wife had the crab cake platter and she liked it.

We walked in and the one couple that was there left a couple minutes after we were seated. The food was tasty. I had a pick 2 from the menu, cod and crab cake. It came with a tasty Cole slaw, fries and all the cups of condiments. It was $20. I chomped down on 4 bits of crab shell, which I wasn't happy with but it happens. Only 2 other couples came in.

We had a terrible experience. Crabs was ok. You have to check your receipts really good coz if you don't you will see things were added and did not order. 3 times was added to your expenses.

Being from Maryland and living in Charlotte limits my ability to get "real" seafood. This place hands down, is as close to home as I can get. Their crabcakes are awesome, and not full of breading like everyone else. The owners are from MD, so rest assured, it's the real deal.

My husband and I ordered blue crabs 🦀 that was fresh, juicy, hot and delicious!! Well worth the wait!!

Great little restaurant! Had fried shrimp and scallops and they were delicious! Staff was accommodating and friendly. Look forward to going back on next visit to Myrtle Beach!

Cute Family owned restaraunt/bar. Got a dozen Maryland style crabs and also a trio of Snow,King and Jonah crabs. All were cooked right and tasted great! Enjoyed their slaw as well, was a vinegar style slaw,not mayo. Good huahpuppies too. Our server did a great Job and the manager treated us to little lemon custard pies :) Would recommend!

My Family and I had a very pleasant experience and a DELICIOUS meal. The service was good the waitress was nice n the food is worth the money FRESH N TASTY SEAFOOD the hushpuppies are the BEST

We went here for dinner on our last night of vacation and LOVED it. The staff are so sweet and personable and the food was amazing. This place beats the other seafood restaurants along the highway by a landslide. Highly recommend.

We ordered takeout and the tray was practically empty. We paid $17 for the shrimp platter and only received 8 fried shrimp and $20 for the flounder platter and received only one piece of flounder. The food was definitely overpriced as it was just good/ okay in taste. Shrimp were heavily battered and slightly greasy. We were definitely disappointed in our meal :/ && the restaurant was extremely nasty/ dirty- floor was sticky and no paper towels in the bathroom. It felt like a bar setting or takeout only restaurant but its really supposed to be dine in seating restaurant. Again, super disappointing but the staff were super friendly and kind.

Was one of the few seafood restaurants open in Myrtle Beach. Ordered a seafood platter with fish and oysters. Got 1 piece of fish and a barely a handful of oysters with fries for 20.00. NOT WORTH IT FOR THE MONEY. Wasn't particularly fond of them having their dog in the Kitchen either but if you like dogs around your food this is your place. I will say this the people that work there were nice. I think its possible that its more of a relaxed due to it being the off season.

Went there because they advertise Maryland blue crab. First no wait staff then no ice drinks. We left and went elsewhere. Would not recommend

This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach and we wanted seafood. We came in and were told that they were out of allot. What they did have did not disappoint!!!! I am really really pleased. Thank you for great hospitality!!!

It’s been a while, but my friends and I still laugh about how this was the worst dining experience of our lives. I’d rather not eat than go here.

If you want good seafood go to this place!!! Seafood was steamed to perfection and seasoned well!! And reasonably priced!!!

Well worth the wait for amazing food for the whole family!

I have been trying to get crabs since February 2020. Now they say year round crabs which is false. Now being from Maryland and growing up on the eastern shore. I have never had a problem getting crabs year round when stated. Whether they were from Louisiana or from Maryland if they stated it, they had them. When they finally did have some in stock the women thought since she was from Baltimore she was a crab expert and rude. Just don't waste your time. I've spent 20 years of my life on the Chesapeake Bay and I promise they don't have a clue.

Mediocre crab dip, still.cold in the middle so obviously it was a warm up. Sodas were $2.75 and it was a 20 ounce (so no refills). Shrimp and fries were strictly average. And don't even think about sharing a meal, because there's a $5 charge if you decide to share certain large meals. Won't be going back.

The Maryland Crab Cakes were identical to those in Annapolis, Baltimore and Ocean City. They were prepared in-house with almost 100 percent protein with just small amounts of binder and light bay seasoning without overpowering salt. Just Perfect! Almost all other local places are otherwise over salted but not here. $17 for the meal with one large patty or for $10 more take an extra one home for a cold crabcake breakfast! Not our first trip here. The menu pictures were the best I could do with the low to medium lightning.

Waited an hour and a half for a takeout order. Owners are about as rude as they come. If you want to support a local small business I suggest you take your money somewhere that APPRECIATES its customers.
